Nordic Center (cultural center of Nordic countries) is a non-commercial project, created by Nordic School team in Moscow and St.Petersburg. Nordic Center is a source of information about all cultural events, organised in cooperation with Nordic countries in Russia; tourism oportunities; education and research opportunities and different aspects of culture and life in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland. Among our partners are Det Danske Kulturinstitut i Skt. Petersborg, Suomen Pietarin instituutti, Embassies and General Consulates of Nordic Countries in Moscow and St.Petersburg.

Other projects:

Nordic School - established in 2000. We started from a small classroom with just a few members of staff and only two groups studying Finnish and Swedish. All this came about only with the help of the "Step by Step" grant, awarded by the Nordic Council of Ministers. Now Nordic School has offices in Moscow and St.Petersburg. We are proud of a solid educational and methodological background, own library, experienced teachers and excellent relations with educational centres in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Spain. We run dozens of language study groups of Finnish, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian , Icelandic and English. About 100 students travel to Finland each year on language training programmes. More than 1000 schoolchildren and students spend their holidays at our camps in Finland and Sweden.More...
